Since childhood I was passioned by the traditions and folk art. At the primary school I attended the "Hall of Creation for children ", Chişinău - crocheting group. I was always trying to make the thread an active element. Crocheting group was my first step on the way to textile art.
After graduating high school I entered the Faculty of Fine Arts and Design, State Pedagogical University "Ion Creangă", Chişinău, Republic of Moldova (2002 — 2007), specialization "Decorative Arts".
The chairman of Decorative Arts proposes to their students a variation of specialities and specializations which are bound up with traditional, folk art and contemporaneous Decorative Arts and Design.
Decorative Arts have the following directions:- Decorative Arts with throughness knowledge and mastership in the spheres of: tapestry (designing and realization of textile goods), print kerchief, pottery, dress design, manufactaring of wood and metal with pictorial and semantical details in folk art. I've choosed the following specialities: tapestry, print kerchief and dress designing.
- Optional courses offer the posibility to diversify and develop the specialities-artistic processing of leather, volumetrical tapestry and volumetrical-spatial print kerchief.
Duration of studies: 5 years. Final specialization - tapestry.
